Another wondering summer gathering at Breitenbush. Because of the China trip I didn’t get to arrive a day early as I usually do (and will do again in the winter). Got back from China on Tuesday, left for the gathering Wednesday.
The Devil’s Hole swimming hole was unfortunately running over with staff members, their mothers, their children. I think we need to confirm with Breitenbush for next summer that closed camp should include the swimming hole as well.
The Grape Cirlce was said by some to be less rowdy and other years, but from the picture, it was well attended, and blocked several fire lanes — so THATS what less rowdy is.
No romance, but I got plenty of sleep. No fireman hosing down the hot boys this year either. Still had a wonderful time.
