With the Founder’s Room closed for dinner, off to the Brooklyn which is right across the street. Oysters and Vodka sampler for my appetizer. For the main I just had two more appetizers — the venison wrapped in bacon and the scallop with foie gras, and shared the Roasted Beet and proscuitto salad with Kristina. Truly amazing. Washed it down with the Acacia Pinot Noir.

The Kirov Orchestra was big and full of sound. Really showed off the hall. Surprisingly — no encore, first time I’ve had this happen with a visiting orchestra.

Was home by 10pm which is good since I have a 6:05am flight. Town car coming at 4am. Ick.
