All this make Jack a dull boy. Thank god I’m not Jack.
Breakfast at the Chatterbox — had I been in uniform (military, not maid) I’d have eatin my Eggs Benedict for free. Can’t find a decent link to the place but it’s your typical long skinny diner with the oldest espresso machine in St. Petersburg.
Then to work, work, work until I can work no more before heading to Gillie’s BBQ for lunch. For $5.35 the lunch special is a chopped pork sandwich with a very mustardy bbq sauce, a coleslaw that was a little sweeter than I like, but still had the vinegar zing, and a can of pop — not bad.
Back to work on the To-Do list for Dan to deal with. Hopefully we will get out of here at a reasonable hour tonight. And we are out of there a little past six — a record.
Off to the O Bistro. god knows how it got it’s name, but the food is great. No pictures, but I had the double cut pork chop medium rare, Dan had the flatiron steak medium rare, and Lisa had pecan encrusted chicken breasts…. and they make a fine Booker’s Manhattan as well. Find dinner, but the van service comes at 3:30am.
