Fortunes for morning, Errands for day, Theatre for evening.

The post midnight AM fortune:
“A friend is a present you give yourself.”

Maybe it’s time for another cookie….

“Someone of importance could let you down.”

Damn, empty calories, empty fortunes.

This list for today:
IKEA: 6″ wide mount drop 12v lamp for harvest table and two lamps for the city apartment, tired of having to read in bed.
WSLTB: Wild Turkey Rye (Cap Hill Store), six bottles for xmas presents
Vya Vermouth: QFC and cap hill, 3 small, 3 large
Trader Joes: Semi-natural maraschino cherries
Interbay Condo: ran into Mark, the owner (and friend of mine) waiting for an inspector to check the footings before they are poured. Still hasn’t sold my unit, so I might have time yet to buy it.

Footings ready to be poured on the InterBay Condos

We’ll see. Hey — wanna buy a church? Click Here.

Dinner at Ten Mercer at 5:30 after a quick Manhattan (not using the above ingredients — those are for xmas) before. Crab Cakes split for an appetizer, then the pork tenderloin and spaetzle for me, the wasabi grilled ahi tuna for Greg.

The show tonight at the Intiman is Native Son — I love the Intiman, every time they do part of the American Cycle, there is some homoerotic element to it. Tonight the play opened and closed with this tall naked black man on stage. When they did Grapes of Wrath last year it was a wet underwear scene with all the male cast members in it. I guess this is their answer to the NEA upping the amount of money provided for “American” theatre and music (hence all the Copland on the Seattle Symphony Schedule).

Greg with a Manhattan

Finished the evening with more Manhattans and Greg spending the night on the foldout bed. No drinking and driving.
