It sounded like a good idea… the redeeye to Florida. Makes it much easier for Dan and Lisa to pick me up at the airport, but oh what a price on my sanity. At least the trip started off nice, with a couple of drinks in Delta’s Crown Room — which they let me in to even though there is an Alaska Board Room in Seattle. Downside was the lack of real food there, just biscotti.
The red-eye was packed full. Had a couple more cocktails and zonked out like most of the rest of the plane. The Crown Room in Atlanta was a stop for a couple of vodka grapefruits and to pick up some papers. The short hop (stangely on a 767) hot a bunch of seats open, including the one next to me.
A little breakfast at the Village Inn, a couple of other stops, then off to Shirts of Bamboo to work (after a 40 minute nap). Have the feeling the next couple of days are going to be work, work, work.
