Breakfast at the Chatterbox where soldiers in uniform eat free. I’m not a soldier, and not in uniform, but I didn’t pay — Dan did.
Off to the airport at 10:30 for a 12:30 flight to Cincinnati, then on to Seattle, avoiding the tornadoes troubling Atlanta this morning.
First flight on time, second flight an hour late — more time drinking Woodford Reserve in the Delta Crown Room.
Dinner with Chris and Helene at some Italian place in Fremont, which was sort of a mini-disaster…. Helene on time, but then had to leave, us late and started eating, Helene there…. and then off to Graf’s to pick up Chris’ laptop which was in for repairs so he could have it for the Canada trip.
By this time I am seriously cranky. Email and bed. Can’t believe we have to be on the road by 9am in the morning to make the ferry to Victoria.
