Left the Quillayute River Resort early (well, for me). 9:15 to be exact. Gassed up in Port Angeles at the Safeway, then onto Port Townsend for the 12:45pm ferry to Keystone, then up Whidbey Island, through Deception Pass to Anacortes and the 3:30pm ferry to Lopez. Stopped at the Anacortes Safeway to stock up on meat since Curt is coming out for the holiday weekend.
Curt didn’t know there was a 5:05pm ferry, so he showed up at the house at 6pm while I was still unpacking stuff! Later we have Lobster Bisque, with an entire shredded lobster tail in it — along with bread and the dipping sauces that arrived for Christmas.
And speaking of Christmas — finally opened the presents from Mom and Dad — a really nice silk robe and more reading material — both are going to Hawaii with me.
Hot tub is on the fritz again, I think it’s all the calcium in the water. May just clean it and take it to the city for the new place.
