Spent most of the day thinking about England…. making reservations for our rooms at the Royal National in London, and getting the rental car from Alamo. Thank god for BA Holidays — apparently it’s the only way to get a cheap(er) room at the National. Then there is the Australia trip — have cars arranged for Auckland and Melbourne via EuropCar. Still need a place to stay in Sydney — I’m hitting up the GlobalFreeloaders folks since they are Aussie based.
Pucci had students during the day, then rehearsal, then we were off to the sticks to pick up one of his three basses that was in the hospital, then back to the house for steaks with a mushroom reduction, asparagus, baked potatoes.
Did I mention the martinis before the and stunning wine with?
