Today it the drive from Seattle to Surfside, with a stop in South Park to put the garbage out and measuring for some cabinets.
Drive went well, with the laptop set up to get interent service so I could listen to KPLU while having the mapping software telling me directions, all through the van speakers with the help of an FM transmitter plugged into the headphone jack of the laptop. There is a picture below. The big black thing in the window is the EVDO external antenna, and small one is the GPS receiver, the cell phone, hula santa, and on the seat, the laptop.
Little light showers created a rainbow over Anthony’s Home Court, the gay motel on the Long Beach strip.
Staying at the WorldMark Surfside. Michael and Chase are coming over for a steak dinner, Michael is in the city apartment while we are at the Bush.
Lovely evening, though early since Chase was a little under the weather, and Michael had to work in the morning. Just means more time to deal with SOB issues.
