Running around like a madman after getting up early so I can make the 1:40pm ferry from Anacortes.
First to the Rose Street House to pick up the mail and the CD-ROM with Kristina’s invitation for her March show at Antioch University, Seattle. Copy the file, then off to Kristina’s house to give back the disc, since it’s her only copy. Then onto the freeway headed north, for a brunch of a Depot Dog and picking up the last piece for the kitchen — Package VB in the Fairfield line and some door stops. The self-checkout charged me $0.01 for the VB piece, it had a sale tag on it, but NOT THAT CHEAP — sort of makes up for having to visit four different stores to find it!
Safeway in Anacortes to hit the cheap meat counter, tons of good deals. The WSLCB for a bottle of scoth, since Jill is visiting the island tonight as well. Then off to the ferry… several cars in line behind Jill, but I got off before her. We both napped on the trip over, and she napped more during the afternoon at the church while I worked.
Lynne for dinner — she’s bringing the steaks (not that I need them after the Safeway run), and I’m doing the asparagus and salad, and wine for six. I suspected that they’d get alone, and they did.
I was in bed by eleven.
