Today’s agenda…. talk Josh (Josh’s Woodworking) into getting several projects done on the house. He wants to go under the house and jack it up, I’m for just leveling everything else. New bad door, the pocket door to the utility room, garage door opener put in, and the two wall modifications.
Item two: rip out the kitchen counters and try and salvage them for the garage workshop.
Item three: start taking down the two non-load-bearing walls to give it a more “open” floor plan.
Happy Friday. Lots of work to do, and I still need time to put together a plan for Shirts of Bamboo advertising on the local public radio station, along with checking the stats on the free ads. Too much to do and still make the flight to Australia on Tuesday afternoon. I’ll need a break from this schedule by then, assuming I make it!
Today’s nonsequitur…. the history of the maraschino cherry from a recent Wall Street Journal. Sorry, I’m not an on-line subscriber, so you will have to click on the thumbnail below to enlarge, and then print it.
