Josh is back on the job site today and banging around. By the end of the day 98% of the drywall is hung (kitchen sink area and a couple of patches left), and some of the edging is on. Power has been run for the new location for the refrigerator and the dishwasher.
The place is coming along.
Me — it felt like I spent the day running from here to there, and back again. Home Depot twice, Jeff’s to drop off St. Rose of Lima for the auction in September, Jill’s to pick up some serious plastic floor protection. I did get new boxes installed for the dryer and range outlets — which in some ways is silly because I’m not using either of them, but they were just hanging out and it wasn’t really safe.
Gnarlene came by in the afternoon to help with making a couple of dump runs — I thought it would be one, but it was two full loads for about $100 combined, plus his time. We celebrated the trash leaving with a beer.
Dinner at the apartment was a repeat of last nights meal, but with a different wine. Tried to do more on taxes, but lost interest.
Exhausted, must go to bed.
