Welcome to the Hotel Ibis Sydney Airport, may I take the bags from under your eyes?
Flight went well. Seat next to me was open, and he had an extra seat to himself oddly enough he chose not to sit on the aisle which I could understand since I kept getting bumped through the flight.
Stayed awake for one movie The Queen which Id already seen on the flight to Hawaii in January, and the movie after that Id seen as well, so sleeping seems like the best option, and I was knackered from the previous weeks of run, run, run.
Immigration and customs smooth, got express treatment in the customs part by asking a wandering guard whether the crisps (potato chips) I had in my bag were going to be a problem not unless they have nuts. He did ask about sports equipment one look at my body would say thats an odd question.
Love ATMs in foreign countries no more currency conversion hassles. The information desk directed me to the shuttle stop for the Ibis Sydney Airport which I paid in advance for so got a pretty good rate $108AU, so about US$80, guess Id better check those rates.
Hanging out in the lobby updating the blog, waiting for a room to be open (i.e. cleaned).
Im amazingly not jet lagged is it the sleep, the booze, the noise canceling headphones? The guy (cute) next to me on the plane (on the way to visit fianc) didnt drink anything but water, and didnt have the noise canceling headphones, and looked like shit in the immigrations/customs line. I still would have had sex with him if hed asked.
Goals for today SHOWER, SHAVE, BRUSH TEETH, and then track down the email with directions to the harbor where Im meeting Marty, Eric, and Joyce noonish tomorrow. Basically means Ill be taking the bus back to the airport in the morning to the Hertz desk in the domestic terminal which it looks like is where they store the cars. Might try and get ahold of the one Shirts of Bamboo customer Ive been e-chatting with. Its either today, or next Saturday when I return, though I guess I could get the car early and swing by her shop. Though Id prefer to not drive in the city if possible with everyone on the other side of the road.

G’day Markie!
Say hello to Dame Edna for me and don’t assault too many koalas.
Have a great trip!
