Too Many Things On My Plate!

So. Listed the Bluebird last night on the Yahoo Groups list for Bluebirds — they are an incredible source of knowledge for these “built like tanks” Bluebird Wanderlodge Motorhomes. The price is $28,500 since it needs new paws (tires). That’s a really good price since it has inverters, solar panels, new fridge with ice maker, new upholstery. Must be good. Got a call from a guy in Colorado who has a 1981 but without the turbo, 2-speed rear end, and engine retarder. Sending him more pictures later this week.

And while we are talking about selling things, the poster printer, scanner, computer, stand, and laminator are under contract. That should close on Wednesday. Now if I can get Ron to take delivery of all the equipment he is committed to.

At this rate, I’ll have enough to pay for the 2007 Sprinter (but not the conversion).

Stopped at the apartment for a shower — was feeling stinky since I didn’t shower or shave in the bus this morning. Then off to the Rose Street House to unload more totes, and the bed for the master bedroom. Well, not the whole bed, the frame made from driftwood that needs to be put back together again.

Then on to painting the rest of the walls in the hallway the “Devil’s Red” that one of the walls was painted from when Jeff lived here. It’s going to take three coats — and the pigment in it smells like a dirty men’s locker room, which some might find appealing, but it just sort of turns my stomach.

After a coat of paint, on to getting the rest of the flooring in. It’s going to be close to get it done without getting another box of flooring which I’d rather no do now that I’m springing for two sheets of $220.00 a sheet 4×8 plywood to make the counters and dining table out of. That’s a tomorrow supply run, along with a couple of cans of polyurethane to re-seal the floors in the bedrooms, hallway, and living room.

Too many projects, and only a few days left to get them done. Leaving the 23rd for Victoria for the “celebrating moving into the house” holiday, so it MUST be done by then, or at least livable.
