Today is getting the rest of the flooring in the kitchen and pantry, getting the base built for the trap door in the hallway (so I know how much bamboo I have left over), and getting some of the baseboards on. Got seven sticks of baseboard from Home Depot… but looking at it now I need 10. Damn. Another run.
Also did a little touch up on the “apple crisp” paint color in the transition between the living room and the hallway. Lots of little things to do today. Also picked up the last cabinet for the kitchen wall — a 30″ with a 3″ spacer — seemed quicker than special ordering a 33″ cabinet.
The day seems like a mishmash of little projects — nothing as impressive as the day most of the cabinets went in. Still have to make time to finish the stove refinishing.
Thank god for the apartment. At least I’m not sleeping with out gassing cabinets, paint, stain, etc.
