Today’s major accomplishment — going to Lopez and back in a single day.
Out of the city at 9:20am smack dab into snarled traffic. Luckily the boat is at 12:30 so that shouldn’t be a problem. Finished reading the WSJ in the ferry line, slept on the boat over.
Filled the car with dishes, the BBQ (that was FUN wrestling it into the van by myself), the hot tub (had to deflate it) and miscellaneous stuff from the office like the two servers. Was back in line at 3:30 for the 4:55pm ferry. Should have stopped in the village for food since the cafeteria on the boat was closed.
Had a great dinner in Anacortes at the Greek Island restaurant. Davey Bowman from SF recommended it years ago, and I see why. Great food. Real Greek people running the place — and Retsina!
Got back to the city at 8:30pm with only the energy to set of the servers, watch a little TV and hit the hay.
