Well, only got half that damn list done. Seems like there aren’t enough hours (or energy) in the day. Didn’t help that I went to a Derby/Cinco de Mayo Day Dinner in the North End — had to have my Mint Julips. Funny thing about those Mint Juleps — it was Swanda’s gift to Dancing Bear from our trip to Kentucky years ago that I was drinking (finally). Maker’s Mark premixed Juleps.
Then there was needing to get a full page ad put together for St. Pete Pride for Shirts of Bamboo. It’s the last weekend in June and I’m hoping to find a cheap fare to go down and visit since the booth will be in front of the store, right on the parade route. I’m headed to St. Pete a week from today on a little business trip.
I did get the flooring in under the washer/dryer unit, and got it installed and the door hung — of course, now I need to make a piece of trim to cover the hardware (it never seems to end). Hopefully it won’t take too much plaster to hide it or the dust that comes with it. A little more flooring to lay in the laundry room (plus paint and trim for the pull down stairs).
