Spent the morning working on Shirts of Bamboo images. Did manage to snag another night in Coeurdalene — that would be Wednesday night. That will make a nice start to the long weekend. Hopefully there will be cell/evdo service in Harrison (just outside Coeurdalene) — I’d hate to have to stop blogging (or working) just because I’m on holiday.
Afternoon rolls around and then it’s pack up some wine and off to Mick’s for a sunny Sunday afternoon BBQ. Nice crowd of 6 for dinner joined late in the game by a lovely Asian man (who wasn’t on the menu).It always surprises me when Mick makes dessert from scratch. Maybe that’s because I haven’t in years, and even then it was usually sorbet or ice cream.
Lovely discussions about the demise of faerie community here in Seattle so the idea was floated for a roving BBQ every three weeks this summer. Mick has the 17th June, I have the 7th of July. Guess I’d better get those dates on my calendar — again, Sunday afternoon 3-8pm so those who work can actually get to bed at a decent time.
