Startled awake at 8 by Curt on the phone… Can I borrow van from 3-midnight.

Morning was running to UVA for packages (wine and cell phone accessories), lunch, and two sheets of drywall at Home Depot.
Came back home, started to remove the oven element (lower) to replace since it was dead, and found one of the wires disconnected. Reconnected wire — bottom element works — save $20 and a trip to the Sears Appliance Repair place on 1st Avenue.
MoonSong finished the framing and most of the drywall on the next section of garage — and I figured out that my old table top will make a GREAT workbench top — save $$ buying a sheet of MDF, and get a nicer top.
Curt picked up the car at 3, now back at 9pm to drink scotch and smoke cigars — I might be a bad influence on him. At least I have company in bed tonight.
Dinner was curried chicken over a bed of lettuce. And started a lamb/onion soup stock from left over bones in the freezer just for good measure.
