Finally got around to sewing the curtains for the living room and dining room. Cafe curtains out of this 40′s feel material with a rose pattern (after Rose Street). It’s sort of a crinkled crepe fabric that was a bitch to sew. With so many color in it, I have to use transparent thread to keep you from seeing the stitching — also had to serge all the edges to get a clean line (tricky to cut as well).

Sorry the picture isn’t any better, should take it at night when there is less light coming in the windows.
Baked bread for the evening meal with Jameson to add to the whole chicken that I’m doing on the grill. A much better meal for him than the beans and rice he would choke down if I weren’t here. Another evening of dining al fresco on the deck — I’m starting to like this (and the fresh cut flowers whenever I need them).
Off to the church to power wash the bus tomorrow.
