Well, the eaves are mostly done, time to put the rest of the siding on — then come a a couple of runs of new shingles to keep it all sealed up until we can do the roof next spring. Just ran out of time this summer. And I’m gone most of the fall. Here’s a shot of the eaves in progress:
We are adding a little over a foot to the eaves to keep water off the house. This project started as a result of the leaking original cedar gutters — one piece of cedar that ran the entire 30 feet length of the house!
I must show off my tomatoes growing in my front yard. Finally, after 30 years in the Northwest, I actually have vine riped tomatoes:

Dinner tonight with Curtis and HongKongM — big thick pork chops medium rare for Curtis and I, two thin well-done pork chops for M. Coleslaw and fresh bread round out the meal. M has stopped drinking (he must be rich by now!) so that slowed the flow of wine at dinner to just a bottle between Curtis and I.
WII Bowling followed — I actually lost to Curtis. I must not be practicing enough.
