Great Art Party Sucess, Lots of Chores Today.

Scrambled eggs with leftover steak for breakfast — and I didn’t have to go to the garage to cook them. The stove is working. Picture below is with three burners going. Good thing I had the fan on high.

So — The Great Art Party was a success last night — loved the orange round balloons! Here are a couple of great shots from the event. Me, with the Signature Cocktail (Absolute Orange and Cointreau) on the rocks, and then there is the shot of Swanda as MC for the evening (fortified with several Signature Cocktails) chatting with our host Wonderful Jeff doing some photographs of the festivities. That would be Jill in the background.

Even though I was near the end of the drawing — I did get some nice handmade shot glasses — a male and a female one.

And the new monitor is in and working in the office. Finally, no glasses needed to see the emails.

Dinner was the leftover rice, some chopped up vegetables, some ham bits — damn — I should have added an egg and called it fried rice. Spent the evening working on the new car computer. Got the mounting supplies at Home Depot this afternoon (and shingles for Moonsong on Monday), but quickly discovered that first one, then two of the USB ports are toast – soI need a keyboard mouse combo rather than the tiny one — or a powered USB hub — but that’s a Fry’s in Portland run on the way down the coast — guess I’ll take parts with me!

Good news — the camera seems to be alive again — I’ve been having “odd” hardware days — like the day the phone lost all it’s memory until is spontaneously reset.

Off to the island tomorrow for dinner with Don, Sue, and Lynne.
