Got the sound card working in RoadKill, the funky laptop I bought from Curtis for the car.
MoonSong in the morning, Fry’s in the afternoon for power supply for dead laptop (didn’t help), new powered USB hub — and the old one finally started to work, and a 3-way cigarette lighter adapter for all the various hardware going in the car.
Picked up 30 liters of wine — 10 Cote de Rhone, 10 Syrah, 10 Chardonnay — at EVS on Capital Hill, then swung by the old apartment to pick up packages and cook dinner for Swanda, then off to Graf’s to drop off TWO dead laptops — my new old, and a very old one that I sold to Swanda, both DOA. What would I do without Graf!
Had just gotten home with Wonderful Jeff popped over — we ended up in the hot tub with some scotch — something we both needed badly. Then off to bed with getting none of the packing done. Bad Mark.
