Greetings from Portland. Arrived to find that a BBQ is scheduled in an hour — good thing I brought and onion and garlic for the potato salad, crackers for snacks, and red wine (non-river-boxed-wine)!
Spent the drive down here going through Mount Rainier National Park (another $15 use on my Parks Pass — bringing my use to $60 out of the $80 cost!) Made sandwiches this morning at Curts — though my arrival at Rainier would have meant a lovely lunch at Longmire in the hotel dining room, oh well.
Below are pictures of the park, of the hardware (in need of updating), and other randomness, including the BBQ. Maybe I’ll add a picture of Ticker from tonight’s BBQ as a full size piece later…
