Here is the booze situation as of 4pm this afternoon:
Im working on a glass of 15 year old Trader Joes Glenlivet..
I have a small orange bag (great for dragging in the river to keep cold) filled with:
- (4) 8oz Long Island Iced Tea (premixed with real booze) in plastic bottles
- (4) Margaritas of said same variety1.5 liters of pre-mixed Bloody Marys.
The other orange bag (the large one) will be filled with Diet Coke.
Picked up (6) one liter aseptic containers of Brandit Merlot, Pinot Grigio and Cab (2) eachFor somewhere in my luggage two 1.75 liter plastic bottles, one brandy (Korbel) and one whiskey (Seagrams VO)
Headed to Trader Joes in a minutes to see if they have any box wine (which I doubt) then off to Safeway and the Liquor barn for the rest. Just back from a Costco run.
Tonight it is just the three of us again for dinner — I’ll be trying out another version of my Chicken Florentino — this time with some cheese between the chicken breast and the wilted spinach.
