On the way to shopping dropped off boxes and a book at Wonderful’s place. More stuff out of the house!
Morgan’s Plumbing on Stoneway is the shower shopping stop for today. Yes, they have a 36″ base (which I found out is code these days) — but it’s close to $400 — cast iron is $500, but seriously cool. Suddenly the center drain models (a rear drain would be less concrete cutting) are looking much more cost effective — and now if I could just remember whether is was Lowes or Home Depot that had the 36″ all in one — would make up for the concrete cutting.
No one for dinner tonight except me — stir fried pork, sweet onions, and red bell peppers — with a spicy chili garlic glaze. Good, but I’ll have ring of fire in the morning.
Starting to set things aside for the first of three Hawaii trips. It would be nice if I had a decent working laptop — Graff is delivering my dead one in the morning for factory service. Ick. Guess I’ll take Curtis’ old one and the router to make it all work. Ick.
Nice to be home, if only for a moment or two.
