Greetings from the Delta Crown Room in Honolulu — again.
Got through security by 10am, and a snack and into the Crown Room by 10:30am — meeting Jill’s flight that is scheduled to be in at noon, mine was half an hour early — and the website says hers is as well even though it left half an hour late… and their advanced tracking system splits the difference.
On the Alaska website, under flight tracking, if you click on the arrival time, it pops up real time info that I assume is from the FAA. Cool. What is interesting to me is that they give wheels up and wheels down time… Alaska left the gate 10 minutes late, but must have hung out on the tarmac for a bit.
Same seat as the way over (and every other flight of this three week adventure). No first class upgrade — I’m assuming it just won’t happen with all the Mileage Plan Gold MVP fliers headed to/from the islands in the first months of service here.
