Up at 8, downstairs for the continental breakfast by 9 — which is good because they were out of pastries by 9:15…. guess I’ll have to plan on earlier times downstairs — and I think I’ll just bring it back to the room and read the paper. Might as well make coffee in the room as well since there is a machine here.
The morning adventure is off to Hilo Hattie — there is a shuttle stop just across the street from me (that would be across the street from Red Lobster in one direction and Aloha Sushi in the other. It is the shuttles first stop so I get the tour of the rest of Waikiki before eventually landing at the Nimitz store. I forgot a hat, so it’s ten bucks for a straw hat and another $3 for the Nathan’s Hot Dog at the stand by the return shuttle stop.
Got off the shuttle at Ala Moana Shopping Center to check out the HiloHattie there — I’m on a mission for Swanda to get another 9 mugs (thought I had ten coupons, but miscounted). He wants them as Christmas presents for his sales team. Oi. And 2 makes 14.
Easy 3 block walk home for picture uploading, blogging and making a sandwich out of last nights left over dinner baguette with salami and string cheese inside.
Nap, then maybe another shuttle run. Until then, here are the pictures so far from all three trips…

What makes these mugs so special?
