Up at 7, to MoonSong’s by 9am — and headed north to Lopez for the 12:35pm ferry. We are a little over an hour early for the ferry, even with a stop at Safeway for dinner stuff.
The whole purpose of this trip (other than to get an out-gassing fiberglass shower stall out of the van) is to see exactly how much work and demolition it’s going to take to get the shower stall put in and get all the plumbing done.
If I get it all figured out then MoonSong can actually do some of the work while I’m in New York for late November.
Turns out we are VERY lucky with the wall where the shower is going — we have a perfect sized opening where the window is.
Lynne came over for dinner of steaks, baked potatoes, salad and wine (and scotch) — it was cold out so we did the steaks on the Jenn-Air and smoked up the kitchen — I’ve got to get the vent uncrimped — or maybe I’ll put that on MoonSong’s list of projects.
Couple of movies after dinner, including Fellini’s Satyricon. That’s always a fun one.
