Well – another milestone for this year. I’ve reached Premier Executive on United Airlines — and I still have the flight to Santa Fe for Christmas yet to post.

Wow. With Santa Fe the flight miles for the year will end up at 56,737. Add my flight miles on Alaska (21, 054) and you have a total for calendar year of 77,791 — WOW. Have I been home at all this year? Not a record since I had a couple of years at Microsoft that topped 100,000 flight miles, but still pretty impressive. And yikes — that doesn’t count the trip late summer to Tampa using miles.
Today is all about getting more miscellaneous stuff done around the house so that I can get out to the island tomorrow, or at the latest, Friday. For one thing, my office looks like a disaster area with all the dead and live hardware thrown about from packing and unpacking from so many trips.
Off to work I go.
