Lots of errands today — time to get all the holiday shopping done in one full swoop.
It’s too bad that I can’t detail the goodies, but I can tell you some of the stops: the bank, Portlock, Archee McPhee, IKEA, Lowesto name a few.
Now, of course, the kitchen looks like a total disaster area with boxes and bags and bows (from the gift baskets) strewn about.
The trip to Lopez has been put off a day so I can get some of the mess under control before he annual Tequila and Latke party to celebrate Chanukah. Still need to get the living room table stripped of all it’s crap and get the Chanukah shrub put on a platter and swaddled in it’s skirt. Then there is all the wrapping to do so that when Monday comes I can put them all in the suitcase that I’ll be taking to Santa Fe for the holidays.
And speaking of holidays —- just booked two nights at a two bedroom at the WorldMark Red River. Now I’m wondering if I should have done three nights in a single. Three nights would take me into the weekend skiers and snowboarders — and you know what a ski bunny I am.
Got all the holiday gift tags made and the cards to go with the Solstice presents for the rest of the Canyonoids (the people I went through the Grand Canyon with last September/October).
Dinner of fine wine (imagine!) and a chicken Caesar salad. Healthy, almost.
