MoonSong was on the 12:30 ferry with me on the 3:30 ferry (after picking up supplies for both plumbing, eating, and drinking).
The goal of this trip is to get the drain for the shower figured out and put in. A sub-goal is to not have to crack any concrete to achieve the initial goal.
By the time I get there — the sun is waning and cocktail hour is approaching. MoonSong has discovered some VERY LARGE roots that seem to be headed directly for the poo pipe for the toilet — wonder if that means there is a leak of “nutrients”. Luckily, that area will be concreted in by the time we are done.
Dinner tonight is a bottle of 2000 Le Cigar Volante. To go with that lovely vintage, I steamed up both snow crab legs and a whole dungeness crab. A little butter for dipping, a salad with a MoonSong made dressing, and you have a fine meal for construction workers.
