Early day today — out of the Murphy Bed at 8am for coffee and to fully awake before a couple shows up to look at Bob (that would be in the Bus, Bob). With the lowered price ($22,900) has several people interested.
MoonSong was up as well, and doing the last little bits of fixing on the coach — removing rat pellet boxes, vacuuming, cleaning out some of the closets and bookcases. Wish me luck on selling off Bob. It should be interesting getting it out of the parking spot for the test drive!
How much time they spend looking and testing determines when I head back to the city. I’ve already gotten the email from United urging me to check in on-line. Which I will do, even though I have a bag to check with the monitor and book for Dan.
Who knows, I might even have time to get a load of laundry done.
EVENING UPDATE:
Couple liked Bob enough to talk about scheduling a mechanic to swing by and check the compression on the engine. Not bad considering we found a dead rat in one of the drawers. Guess that will take some more cleaning. They missed the nine something ferry due to a fifteen minute talk and a piece of paper from a state trooper.
We all made it off the rock on the 3:25 ferry — home by a little after six — to start packing for tomorrow’s trip to Florida.
Of course, with my luck, I finish checking in on-line with United — and THEN — get the text message that I’ve been upgraded. Now I have to wait until tomorrow to get a bulkhead seat (which is available).
Bed early — since I’m up at 3am for the 6am flight.
