The comment from one of my dear clients is:
You know I swear I have put on weight reading about your cooking. No kidding. It makes me hungry and then I go eat something that doesnt taste nearly as good as your description sounds.
The background was a meal I described in email: two different kinds of bread (dill rye and garlic Romano) that I baked last night and rewarmed in the warming oven in the garage (like everyone has an extra kitchen in the garage with commercial equipment) …. eggplant battered in Romano and parsley, and poppy seed orange chicken thighs done in the wok …. to bad I didn’t have time for fresh ice cream or sorbet ….
So, am I doing good or bad. This is a hard one.

“He made that salmon dish when, hmmm…was it when he was in Alaska? Or out on Lopez? Oh, that’s right…he bought it in the market in Vancouver.”
Okay, not a real blog post of yours but it gets the point across…and one of my favorite meals which you’ve ever blessed upon my palate. Damn, that was almost 10 years ago, too.
