Started the morning too early — with a 9am appointment at Havlick’s Auto Rebuild so see what the bill for the damage will be from the Seaside vandalism. I know what my portion will be. That’s $120. But the total bill? Try $1121.89 — and that doesn’t even fix the parking lot ding in the door on the other side. Why couldn’t they have trashed THAT side?
Car goes into the shop next Monday morning (same day Jameson gets back). It will take them five days to get it back to pretty.
Now for the good news…
The front wall for the potting shed is done. Got all the hardware install, and even added some detail work. Can’t wait to put it in. What do you think of it?
The tar paper is meant to wrap around to the side walls to complete the vapor barrier. The tar paper is left over from the late summer roofing project to keep water from dripping down the outside walls of the city house.
The wing walls are tomorrow (as much as I can do) along with the dentist, the bank, and the Nan. Looks like it’s going to be a busy week. I’ll build the roof Thursday and Friday and hopefully deliver them to the island on Saturday.
