Today was the forced march — reference the China Trip from 1000 posts ago where every day was planned for morning, noon and night.
Luckily, this is one of the few days like this on the tour.
The schedule today:
- Out of hotel at 8am
- Eldorado Gold Mine Tour, with panning (and rusty bolts with three flecks of gold)
- Dredge Number Eight with a beef stew lunch (with great biscuits)
- Alyeska Pipeline Tour (brief)
- Sternwheeler Discovery III for a three hour cruise
- Back to the hotel at 6pm
Now THAT is a day even more busy with planned activities than yesterday.
And what is a day without pictures….
That would be me with my friend… the Alaska Pipeline.
