What a wonderful lazy relaxed day. Here is the scene that I woke up to:

Did some Package Day shopping with Kate and Eric — and ended up buying things… a jacket for Jen, a shirt that might fit Kennan, and a Hawaiian shirt and mink stole for me. Not bad for $45. Gotta love a down economy at times.

Dinner tonight was with the parents, the Colonels, and the Ortiz gang which included Aunt Nancy as well. Cassolet was the main dish and a good time was had by all. The Colonels were a great addition to our family tradition.
