Flew back from Hawaii first class, spent the night in Berkeley, opened Dom Perignon (1996) at midnight, had some ice cream and went to bed so I could wake up this morning at 5am to catch my Alaska flight back to Seattle (also in First Class).
Dinner at Canlis tonight — in the Cache Room. Taking a 5 liter bottle of 1997 Bonny Doon le Cigar Volant which is way too much wine for 4 people, but what the hell. Four appetizers, five main courses, and a bunch of desserts. Way too much fun.
Jacob of Free Ride Cabs (and a friend of mine) picked us up at our various residences and dropped us at Canlis (regular cab home).
