I’m on the 11am ferry so that means in line by 10am — though, as usual, I could have come 15 minutes early.

Terry and Brook will go off and explore the islands today then head their separate ways.

Errand running in the afternoon — dropped off a dishwasher rack for Jimmy at the shop, just prior to the a Port Tasting — he was shocked when I said it was too early for port. Then to the house for the bamboo samples, then to the new house to see how they looked — deadline being the end of the month if I want the stuff that’s on special for $2.25 a square foot. Then off to Bamboo Hardwoods to get 165 square feet of flooring for the kitchen and mud room, and $407 later I have seven boxes awaiting installation. The president of the company overheard about samples.

Dinner at Racha Thai for five. Darcie, Sally, Jeff, Ron, and Myself. Summer rolls and tempura blue crab on a bed of mixed greens. Scotch on the rocks.

The opera was Don Giovanni at the Seattle Opera. The singing was truly fabulous, the sets, modern. A good show, with Darcie/Sally and Jeff fighting over who gets the tickets for next season’s opera.

Went to bed watching Saturday Night Live.
