It’s amazing number of little tasks it takes to get a house squared away. Getting closer, but still much more to do.

Helene was coming after lunch to do the next coat of varathane, but she was confused as to when Chris was headed to the airport… which is a good thing since it was almost 5pm before I got the base for the rolling day bed assembled so that I could get piles of stuff out of the way.

Will stay at the apartment tonight to let the fumes die down since Chris is winging his way to London for work. Still haven’t hauled the big bed in from the garage for the front bedroom. Maybe tomorrow.

Helene and I had dinner at the apartment — from the restaurant diagonally across the street, whose food is great but that I can never remember the name.
