So… 4am in Olympia is damned early. This things I go to actually work (and make a 7:25am flight to DC)
Had to stop at the rest stop for 20 minutes of “sleep deprived stop” time. Now the car is in the lot at the airport. $10 a day more, but better than slamming into a semi-truck on the way north.
No time for the Alaska Board Room (that damn 20-minute nap) and no “express” lane at the airport, so I’m on time for boarding the plane. Three cabin 767 (headed to Frankfurt with a stop in DC to let me off) and I’m in 5D which is bulkhead for business and there is about 48″ of leg room. And food. Blintzes and Cosmos for breakfast.
Transferred to TED — that would be the back end United. No first class. purchase your meals. Surly attendants. Rough flight — but I made it.
Dan and Lisa to meet me at the airport and Korean food binge on the way home.
Sleep ensued after.
