What more can I say. Rental Cars and Power Poles Shaped Like Mickey Mouse.
First stop Budget to pick up a burgundy HHR, then to Cissin Cuzzins for lunch, then Costco where I picked up this cool FM transmitter/inverter/USB charger/12-volt outlet combo to replace several things I have in the van, though I think this one will go in the BMW.
Next stop, Orlando….
Staying tonight at the WorldMark Orlando at Kingstown Reef and here is the review: the 2-bedroom unit it huge, but the kitchen small. Odd thing is that there is a fridge and microwave in the 2nd bedroom that has two queen size beds in it. Great for a family — to me it looks like this was designed to be a one-bedroom and a one-bedroom suite but was combined to make a 2-bedroom. Pool towels are a bit ratty and little things around the unit need attention (like the broken clothes line in my bathroom).
Dinner is two huge steaks (to go with the huge unit), asparagus, Caesar salad and a stunning bottle of Whitehall Lane 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon (followed by a Coppola Claret). Oh, and some Costco Scotch (Macallan 12-year-old).
Follow that with a hot tub shared with a family including a 22-year-old nipple-pierced long-haired Oregon boy, and the day is complete
