Spent parts of today grabbing images off the Library of Congress site for use on Shirts of Bamboo T-shirts. Lots of cool WPA posters, some of them rather offensive by today’s standards — references to “Japs” and all that. Also tons of relocation photographs which are cool from a historical perspective, but useless for t-shirts. The image sizes range from onscreen versions, to usable versions of 4 megs stretching to 60 megs for some of the Japanese artwork.

Breakfast was eggs scrambled with left over steak, dinner is going to be two barbecued pork loins in a Caribbean jerk sauce, salad, asparagus, french bread, and a lovely magnum of 2000 Bonny Doon Le Cigare Volant. Tonight’s guest is Lynne, who Curt and Brandon haven’t met, but seem to enjoy dinner with.

A movie after dinner, but off to bed after that. It’s amazing how exhausting relaxing can be.
