Spent the morning working on the Hawaii trips this fall — trying to get a cheap RCI condo trade… no luck yet, check in early August. I’d like to use this certificate before the end of October so I don’t have to renew the RCI fee ($89). Did manage to bag two nights in Maui at Valley Isle which is a Trendwest Resort that I haven’t stayed at before — that will complete my Hawaii “badge”, i.e. staying at every resort in that state/country. I currently have Canada, Fiji, New Zealand, and I’m only one resort away from Idaho and Washington.

I did get the rest of the fence boards up — though not completely nailed — on the new fence between my house and MaryAnn and Jeremy’s next door. Ran out of nails. Well, ran out of the right size galvanized nails.

Made deviled eggs for the afternoon BBQ that starts at 2pm at Freebies. Showed up at 2:15 as he and roommates were in the process of the final preparations. Hung out there until a little after 7 (still really light outside!), got a little croquet in, had a bunch to eat, drank all the wine and had to leave. Well, two of us brought wine, and when it was gone, we both left.

Crashed on the couch for a bit, took a hot tub, watched a little TV and crashed for good.
