Up at 8 with thoughts of making the 12:30 ferry to Lopez with the trailer in pieces in the back. Not. Between booking more slots for Hawaii’s first leg, and just random stuff like showers, have decided to not rush this morning. There is a 3:30pm ferry as well. Wasn’t planning on coming back tonight anyway.

Now I can relax and think about the stuff I’m going to need up there this weekend —like drills, handdtruck, wrenches, etc. for assemblying the trailer. Need to stop at Home Depot on the way up for plywood and carraige bolts for the trailer as well. Might as well pack a picnic lunch and make this a relaxing day rather than my usual crazed rush rush rush day.

I don’t know how late the barber is open til this afternoon — but guessing no haircut this trip either. Damn — guess I should email and find out. And the answer is 6pm. Had a nice chat with CocoPecker who was hanging out there as well.

By the end of the evening the trailer was to the point of one tire on. Ran out of steam. Pictures later once I can upload them from the phone.
