Up at 7am thanks to a truck rumbling by. Slept really well with the sleeping bag added to the bed as a comforter. Amazing how being totally warm helps sleep.
Either on the 8:55am or the 10am ferry — still have the van to pack, though I did get the two soda machines on the trailer bed last night. Doubt I’ll make the 8:55, but will be in line for the 10 at that point.
Wish me luck.
There were still a couple of places left on the boat — and I was just past the 50 vehicle mark — guess I’d better get those minimum numbers for the website.
Uneventful trip home with the new trailer — but I did realize at one of the stops that there was only one bolt in one of the fenders — oops!
Got home to MoonSong painting the garage walls that we’d drywalled. Then nailed the rest of the fence (with the nails I had with me), then trim installed in the garage. Moved stuff around in the new wine cellar — and had a small accident that killed 3 bottles of wine… apparently those Bordeaux style wine bottles don’t stack that well — they came flying out of the cabinet door and bouncing on the floor — final count — five suicidal, three confirmed dead. And now the wine cellar/room really smells of wine. As does the wet/dry vac.
Trailer is in the garage tonight. Steaks are on the grill, and the damn hot tub is being cranky again.
Jameson due later for this weeks work session. I’m off to Tampa/St. Pete on Wednesday so tomorrow is packing.
