Up at 8, MoonSong by 9, to Home Depot for a dog at 10 for more stain and painting stuff.

Just a normal day around the house.

Half the deck is stained, the old fence broken down, new cabinets put in the garage, starting to get organized, and the garbage is out because I leave for St. Pete tomorrow.

MoonSong will be back tomorrow to organize the garage more… guess I should leave the bimmer at the airport for further cleaning in the garage — it’s getting close. One pop machine in (with the lost key), another one to go on the porch.

Should be packing but I’m off to a Patty Stonesifer meeting/greeting/Q&A courtesy of United Way. Now she is the head of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, but years ago she was my bosses boss at MSFT. She’s a great boss — can totally unify a dysfunctional department with “the crap stops here” attitude — i.e. we have better things to do, we have a world to change. Amazing manager. Great evening — it even included a buffet platter but no wine. Oh well.

Home after to arrive at the same time as Jameson — who did the late night commute last night and almost missed  his carpool to the woods.

Me — I’m trying to pack 5 reams of paper into my carry on with some clothes — while battling my itchy eyes from allergies — and now I’m heading to the land of cats and dogs. Hesitate to take my THIRD antihistamine today – would hate to sleep through my first class flight via St. Louis to Tampa/St. Pete. Starting to look like the cab
