Well — contractor decisions in the morning — MoonSong working on the roof extension. Nothing is easy, but it will look good (hopefully) in the end.
Caught the 2:30 ferry to the island. Got a hold of Ron, and since he had help at the shop today, he picked up his pickup truck and finally picked up the rest of his equipment, and was gracious enough to stay around and help me load Jeff’s panels, my binding equipment, rearrange the furniture and basically be an all-around nice guy.
Not going to make the 5:45 return ferry, so I’ll grab dinner in the village, probably at Bucky’s, maybe Love Dog, and catch the 8:30 home — and battle traffic that is down to one or two lanes through Everett for construction. Better that than getting up in the morning and doing the early run. I’d rather go shopping for the ground cloth and inflatable mattress for the canyon trip at REI and/or Big 5. Trying to tie up all the loose ends well in advance of the trip.
Note to self: check out dehydrated potato flakes to go with the London broil for dinner, day 16 on the river.
Note to self: include more pictures, people are whining “I want to see what XXX looks like.”
I never whine! Not this time anyway……
Fun! I can’t ever figure out when you are in town or out and about, so keep in touch.
On the August calendar, does red mean you are somewhere other than Seattle and black means you’re home??? I am SOOOOOO not computer savvvvvvvy…
