Thursday. Early. Not Good.

It’s not a good day when I have to set my alarm clock.

I think this means that I’m shot for working a 9 to 5 job ever again.

Alarm at 7, out of the house at 7:30, shopping at Homo Depot and to MoonSong’s by 8:30 so we can hit the road for Lopez and do some more shower work (and show off the motor home on Saturday).

Of course — there is an advantage — at the church by noon. A full afternoon of work can get done — and it is.

Seems that plumbing is on tap for this trip. A reverse engineered run all the pipe and stick it out the wall to be connected later, once the foundation extension is poured. The progress today is getting things sketched out and a parts list made, and one of the stub walls put in.

Dinner tonight is cornish game hens, wilted spinach, and a leftover bottle of wine from CanadaLand. A Jackson-Triggs Cabernet that didn’t get drunk on my last trip to Victoria.

Life is hard — and the early day left me knackered and in bed by 9pm. I didn’t even get any reading done. Oi.
