Well, I think it’s official. It’s time to get a “real” job. My income from the business for the last quarter was $262.50. Yes, I did my quarterly taxes for the state, and it took all of five minutes on-line. Doesn’t take long when there is only one invoice, a wholesale one so there was no sales tax due, and no excise tax due because of the “small business credit”. Yikes.

I’m not on the verge of starving (and losing a little weight wouldn’t hurt), but it is a changed world. The Republicans have totally sucked the life out of the US economy with their global vendetta.

At least the next couple of days will be filled with amusement. It’s hard to be depressed with friends to dinner one night then off to friends for dinner the next. Or at least not when the wine is flowing.

Today is just about puttering around, cleaning up accounts, settling debts, packing, trying to off-load a gas dryer to make room in the garage for more shelves (organize, organize, organize). If I have time I’ll do that, or sort my tax papers, or just drink myself into a stupor.
